Jon Batten is a 1985 graduate of the Citadel, graduating with a BA in History. After the Citadel he was commissioned as an Infantry Officer serving in a Bradley Infantry Battalion in Germany. He has had careers in the automotive industry in Supply Chain Management and as a local real estate agent and Broker / Owner of his own RE/MAX real estate office. Jon has a passion for Charleston and her history and loves to make connections from the past to the present. It is through these connections, he believes that we can truly understand how events of today can be understood.

Jon along with his wife Jane raised two girls in Summerville, SC where they currently live.
